  I am a certified cat sitter from Centro Miciolandia®,

a highly specialized training and learning establishment about the nature and behaviour of cats, immersed in the green hills of Umbria. Centro Miciolandia® has also awarded me its basic Cat Counselling certificate, upon completion of a learning programme and final examination.

 

I am currently a student member of ISAP (International Society of Animal Professionals).

which has recognized my Cat's Behaviour Counselor certificate above as a diploma course with distinction.

Giordano, one of my beloved cats, has featured in an article published in the November 2018 issue of the British magazine Your Cat.

I have published a few essays on the relation between human and non-human animals in three different English-speaking journals:

3) “Bacon Wrapped Cancer”: The Discursive Construction of Meat Carcinogenicity (abstract free here).

I am currently contributing, with a short video clip, in a documentary produced by Alfredo Leone about life with FIV+ cats.

Most of all, I love cats, and I do my best to understand them, and make myself understood by them.

Besides cats, I am qualifying to provide first aid to other animals.
